Mid-day D R A M A...

The other day, Jared (aka Salo) came home from school and first thing I hear is "MOOOOOMMM! Can ________ come over and play?". He's rapidly going down his list of friends, thinking I'll change my mind with a different friend. Of course, we had naps and cleaning and all that fun mid-day stuff, so I repeatedly told him "Sorry Salo, not today"... and that is when the tears started rollin'. I don't think it helped that I told him he had to walk with us back home from Aunty Desiree's house 'cause he just started wailing...

and wailing...

and wailing...

and wailing... I kept telling him he'd better stop before one of his friends sees him crying and that just made him cry LOUDer. I couldn't help but LAUGH and take a few shots of this ordeal.

But Emi and Moe couldn't be bothered by their older brother Salo's DRAMA session. They were so excited to be walking, not riding in the stroller, in the warm sun. Moe even got happy and wanted his shirt off.

Ahhh! the JOYS!

Let's S I N G!

My kids and I watched this movie for the first time this weekend. We LOVED it! Some parts were so cute and others just cracked me up! We spent all day Sat and Sun singing this song... making up our own words as we went along. We LOVE to "hiva loi" (pretend to S I N G) in our house. Even lil' Moe was humming along. Anywho~ This is our favorite clip. I would LOVE to let loose and just bust out in song on the street, with no reservations... yeah, really I would! lol.

Girls just wanna have FUh UhN...

This year we've gone all out, celebrating Jocelyn's birthday practically all month long. Her grandmother works at the schools down-the-hill and heard all the young students talk of renting a limo for their b-day parties. It's become really popular in their area. So this year Grandma went out and rented one for Jocey. She was so excited when she found out and chose to invite her cousins and a couple of friends out for a night on the town. We had a BLAST! These girls just wanna have FUN!

My Jocey is turning 8!

I know I'll be documenting this a little later... but I can't believe how big my 'baby' is! When we moved to the desert she was four and pretty soon she'll be getting baptized. It's amazing how time FLYS by!

I am so grateful for my little girl, who isn't so little anymore. She so sweet, kind, and generous and sometimes obnoxious... but I love her to pieces. I don't think raising the other three would be as smooth if it weren't for the help I get from my sweet daughter, Jocelyn. I am SO grateful!

Running away from the Desert... for a minute

The kids were off school for the President's Day holiday and since both our hubby's worked Des and I decided to go to the Hilton in LA and let the kids loose.

It was a fun, relaxing weekend. The kids enjoyed watching TV all night, eating junk food and swimming in the pool while Des and I just lounged. Sometimes it nice to get out of the Desert!

All the kids getting settled in the room, driving the neighbors nuts!

Sione I"kaika", Jared "Salo", and Lake just chillin'

The girls goofing around. Ofa, Jocey, Maysa and Kaili making the MOST of the weekend.
